Draft's Account Link tool allows you to link Cash and Investment accounts so that your advisor can easily analyze and monitor your entire portfolio. You can link an account by clicking the (+) icon in the header.
Before you begin: We can only link financial accounts that you have online access to. This means you'll need to have the login credentials (username and password) for your financial institution's website before we can link it.
Step 1: After clicking the (+) icon in the header you'll be taken to a page where you can search for your financial institution. On this page, begin by typing in the name of your financial institution. For example, "Fidelity" or "Charles Schwab".
Step 2: Once you have selected the your institution, enter the username and password for that institution. After you've entered your credentials, click next. At this point we'll attempt to connect to your account to fetch your holding data so that we can provide your advisor with analysis.
Step 4: If you have more than 1 financial account, click the "link another account" button.
Step 5: You can track the progress of the accounts you added, they will not link immediately. On the left side of the page there is a section where you can track the progress
Step 6: Once you have finished linking your accounts, there is a button at the bottom of the screen labeled "next". Click that to continue.
Step 7: After you click next, a dialog will pop up asking if you have connected all of your financial accounts. If you have not added all your accounts and plan to add more later (or if you are having trouble adding a specific institution), click "not yet". If you have added all your accounts and don't plan to add any more, click "yes".
At this point we'll notify your advisor that you've linked your accounts and send them a link to view analysis of your portfolio.
